Dolls Kill:

Hawaiian Rave Collection

Concept Board

1) I blended authentic Hawaiian visuals (lush greens, turquoise water, hibiscus flowers) with high-energy party imagery (cocktails, "HANG LOOSE" signs) to create a bold aesthetic. Six colors were chosen, balancing natural hues with rave-ready neons and six key icons (e.g., surfboard, palm tree, sunglasses) were extracted as the design foundation.

Textile Design

2) I stylized the motifs into simplified, digital, and neon-saturated patterns. These prints range from dense, all-over repeats (suitable for leggings and tops) to large-scale, geometric designs (inspired by kapa cloth), ensuring a diverse range of print options for the brand's product development.

Dolls Kill specializes in bold, alternative subcultures, including the rave/festival demographic (represented by their "Kandi" aesthetic). This collection capitalizes on the contrast of taking the traditionally relaxed, tropical Hawaiian style and giving it a maximalist, high-energy makeover with neon colors and edgy cuts, perfectly aligning with the brand's rebellious spirit.

3) The process of creating these flats involved translating the collection's "Honolulu Rave" concept into eight functional, market-appropriate Dolls Kill silhouettes (bodysuits, flared pants, skirts, pashmina, dress). I meticulously used the developed textile prints (from your previous work) and the French Grey, Light Sea Green, and Dark Pink/Orange/Yellow neon palette to illustrate three distinct colorways for each garment, ensuring all relevant product information (fabric content, pricing, delivery) was accurately included on each page for a professional line sheet presentation.
